Madrassa
Welcome to Muhammadi Masjid Madrasah
On this page you will find key information about our setup and useful links that will help you along the way.
Introduction
Muhammadi Madrasah is a dynamic Madrasah where we are constantly looking for ways to improve and expand our provision for children aged between 5 and 16 years. Our Madrasah is fully segregated where the girls are in an all-female environment and the boys are in an all-male environment. Our dedicated team of teachers are all DBS certificated and have completed extensive Safeguarding training ensuring that all children are learning in a safe and comfortable environment.
Highlights
We pride ourselves on highly focussed lessons where class sizes are small and manageable. We deliver an effective Qur’an and Islamic studies program where children learn to recite the Qur’an with Tajweed (reading by the official Arabic rules) and Tarteel (beautification). Islamic studies is completed over a 5 year period where children develop their knowledge, understanding and implementation of Aqidah, Fiqh, Tafseer and Akhlaq. We pride ourselves in rewarding our students by running practical and collective activities filled with interaction, quizzes and prizes.
Empathy
We want the best for your children. We know they have had a long day at school and they are tired at Madrasah time. Therefore, we avoid big class sizes and lengthy lessons. We believe 1 hour a day is sufficient for every child in a class of up to 10 children. Madrasah learning is efficient, invigorating and to the point. We currently run 1-hour sessions from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Monday to Friday. Parents can choose which session to send their children depending on availability.
Communication
We are constantly adapting our Madrasah to meet the needs of parents and children. This could include timings, fees, teachers, means of communication, etc to ensure the best learning environment. All changes will be effectively communicated via our WhatsApp community group which you will join as soon as your children enrol to Madrasah.
Payments
Payments are due at the beginning of every calendar month. Online is the best option as payments are easy to track. Cash payments are an additional £5 per month. Once your child enrols, they will be issued a SAN (student allocation number) which will stay with them throughout their Madrasah years. The SAN is important for us to track all your payments for Madrasah fees.
Up front payments are welcome including full year (which is 11 months).
